Cerrado is where our coffee comes from

It is one of the best coffees produced in Brazil.

Cerrado refers to a region in the west of Minas Gerais state, Brazil. And is home to some of the most modern and technologically advanced coffees in the world.

Coffees from there--usually natural or pulped natural processed--are balanced, with creamy mouthfeel and caramel-to-chocolate notes in the roast nuts. This coffee brings a rich body and medium acidity with a long-lasting taste.

The story of Cerrado

The Cerrado region is located in the central western part of the state of Minas Gerais. Coffee was cultivated for the first time by farmers from Paraná after fleeing the (black frost) and farmers from São Paulo, and through a technique that corrected the acidity of the soil and irrigation, large-scale cultivation became possible. After that Cerrado became the first coffee-producing region in Brazil to win Protected Geographical Indication, This means that coffee labeled “Cerrado” has to actually come from Cerrado.
